The New Year, make resolutions to take action not achieve goals.

  1. The problem with resolutions
    1. No plan of action
    2. Instant gratification causes us to quit when we don’t see results
    3. Over promise and lose interest
  2. Resolutions that work
    1. Must involve consistent action
    2. Must be scheduled
    3. Must have a why – vision
  3. Examples of good resolutions
    1. Want to grow revenue?
      1. I resolve to commit 1 hour per day focused on marketing my business starting with increasing my sales calls so that I can increase revenue in 2016.
    2. Want to increase profits / efficiency?
      1. I commit to spending 3 hours per week working on improving aspects of my business in one area at a time starting with X, so that I can increase our profit margins.
    3. Want to eat healthier?
      1. I commit to eating X healthy meals per week and eliminating X times of eating fast food so that I can build a healthier me in 2016.

Make 2016 the best year ever by  committing to take consistent action to move you closer to your goals.
