“Remember to stop from time to time to look around and enjoy your journey.”

Or you pushing too hard?

What:

Remembering to stop once in a while to reflect on how far you have come and what you have achieved.

Why:

We often get too caught up in our focus on the end result that we forget to enjoy the climb and that causes burn-out.

Info:

  1. Control the intensity
    1. We can’t go 120% all the time
    2. Remember the big picture
    3. Don’t get caught up in the little things
  2. Breath
    1. Just like when we exercise, we have to remember to breath – remember to live life
    2. Remind yourself to embrace the things that we do this for – family, enjoyment, laughter, etc.
  3. Take off the blinders
    1. Look up and look around
    2. Enjoy where you are and what you have accomplished
    3. You can’t reflect on where you have been if you don’t look around during your journey and celebrate

We have to recharge and the best way to do that is remembering to stop, take a look around and take it all in.

Take-Action Items:

  1. Avoid getting caught in the rat race

  2. Remember to recharge

  3. Take It All In
